Explanation of the window Add name to the synonym list
(1) Search text box: type just a few letters and then click the "Search" button (number 2 above). If you want to search for author and year as well as for part of a name, use the wild-card sign : using "aur" * "bla" or "aur" * "34" you will get: Actinia aurora < < de Blainville…, 1834
(2) "Search" button: will select from the names in the database according to the chosen criteria
(3) The list of results: from this list, select the name to be added to the synonym list
(4) Text box: shows the selected item
(5) Option buttons: the default value is "Add another name"
(6) "Add name" button: after deciding on the name and type of entry, click the "Add Name" button to save the name in the synonym list
(7) "Close" button: clicking on it will hide the form; to show it again, use the  button from the Entry form
