Only the lateral perfect mesenteries fertile, the perfect mesenteries and sometimes the fifth couple with filaments. Longitudinal muscles of the mesenteries and the parietobasilar muscles weak. Reproduction by transverse fission. Cnidom: see the family. A single species.
